Very disappointed in my experience with Dr. Sharma’s office. I had already completed most of the new patient information online, yet was made to re-enter everything on an iPad, which took nearly 45 minutes. After all that, I was told my appointment had to be rescheduled because Dr. Sharma was not there — and no one even notified me. I was later told he “didn’t realize his patient was here.” Completely unprofessional. My time was wasted, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. I’ll be finding another doctor within Texas Oncology.
I have been trying to schedule an appointment for a week. I keep getting transferred to a voicemail. I call back numerous times, only to be transferred to voicemail again. It is extremely frustrating and should not be so difficult!!
I love it here under the circumstances! From the front office to the back! I’m greeted with smiles and kind words! I have the best oncology in the world! Dr. Pinnapureddy!
Arrived at 7:40 am for a 8 am appointment. They require arrival 15 minutes before appointment and had confirmed via voicemail. When we arrived the doors are locked. I called phone was answered by answering service who cant take a message. They don’t open until 8:30 am. I guess because it a cancer center they don’t care about patients schedule or time.
I’ve had a very bad experience at this location—not just once, but multiple times. Today was especially frustrating. The front desk gave us an appointment, but when we arrived, the nurse told us the treatment couldn’t be done because the doctor wasn’t available. Why schedule appointments if the doctor (Dr. Sharma) is not there? This kind of miscommunication is unacceptable. We adjusted our work schedules for this visit, and our time has been completely wasted. It feels like no one there values patients’ time or mental well-being. Dr. Sharma is almost never available, and it makes me question why his name is even listed. Before giving out appointments, proper internal communication should happen. I’m mentally disturbed by the way this was handled and can confidently say I would never recommend anyone to go to this place.
we having a lot of confusion about their time for scheduling front desk and nurse from inside having miscommunication when u go on time they says u guys are not scheduled and even lady from front desk give us time but inside have different stories waist of a lot of time dr sharma never in this clinic most of time he is busy in different locations we are working people making time from work is very difficult they should have well known about it before giving schedule even 10 minutes late they consider its late at least they should wait any well not referring any one to go there i am really disappointed from them its simple schedule things not making complicated dr sharma nurses need to be more professional she need take care of our time too we don’t have waist time
I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the current no-visitor policy that has been NEWLY enforced at your cancer clinic. As the caregiver and advocate for my mother, who is undergoing weekly cancer treatments, I find this policy not only unnecessary, but inhumane. Cancer drastically alters a person’s quality of life. For patients like my mother—who must already endure physical and emotional exhaustion, constant appointments, and the fear that comes with a life-threatening diagnosis—being forced to attend treatments alone adds to their burden. The isolation is cruel. This policy is especially distressing given the fact that many cancer patients are immunocompromised and must already live in isolation outside the clinic. Denying them the comfort and support of even one family member during treatment adds another level of suffering—one that could and should be prevented. In addition, many patients—especially those who are fatigued, overwhelmed, or experiencing side effects—may not have the strength to advocate for themselves or retain all the information shared during their visits. A single support person can be instrumental in helping them understand and navigate their care plan, ask questions, and feel emotionally supported. I urge you to immediately reconsider and revise this policy to allow at least one designated support person to accompany patients to their appointments. This change would be a humane and reasonable adjustment that reflects empathy, compassion, and respect for the dignity of those enduring the fight of their lives. If you, or any of the “Board” members who agreed on this policy took one step in a cancer patients shoes, you would NOT have agreed to enforce this. Instead NOBODY advocated on behalf of this patient population.
It takes an ACT of GOD to get admin. to accomplish ANYTHING! From start (making an appointment / insurance / communication) to finish (paying a $5 bill) it was a very unprofessional & unpleasant experience. I will however say the gentleman who did the scan was the only good that came from this experience. If we didn't have to go here we wouldn't have.
It has been a great experience having Dr. Sharma and The CenterTx at the Los Colinas location managing my care. I drive two hours to remain in care. That says a lot. Thanks for all you do!
I felt cared for and listened to by all of the staff and doctors. I highly recommend The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders for anyone that is diagnosed with a terrible disease. The staff is amazing!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
