Lifestance Therapists And Psychiatrists Fort Collins's Online Review Report Card

Absolutely terrible experience. 2 months in I am being charged hundreds of dollars on my card and they can't tell me why or what it's for. Treated like an adversary when I was unable to access my appointments on mobile devices. They have pulled my previous review but I'll keep speaking out. Stay far away from this company !! At least for telehealth

I absolutely loved my therapist and med doctor, and I am sad to make the decision to leave, but I am so fed up with their billing team. I work in billing and their billing statements are so confusing and unclear. They also don't display the charges per appointment with insurance at all online, unless it's your statement. Their insurance estimates were always incorrect, which I have a very reputable insurance company so for it to be so far off is just a mess. I've had to map out my charges and have my insurance pulled up online to ensure that they are billing properly because it is beyond confusing. Come to find out one of my appointments was billed under the former company name, Heart Centered Counseling, and not under Lifestance like it has ALWAYS been, thus leading to me being charged double for the same appointment I always have. I have fought so many times for them to resubmit my claim and they spoke down to me like I was ignorant and didn’t know what I was talking about. I worked with my insurance, which is a lot more reputable than Lifestance is, and they unfortunately couldn’t do anything and needed Lifestance to act which they continuously refused to do and stated their side was correct. When I can clearly see it is now. Beyond fed up and would never suggest this ‘company’ to anyone.

I have been really let down by these guys regarding a medication refill. It is not a controlled substance, and I have been told by at least two people that it would be an allowed refill as long as the appointment was scheduled. Now I’m being told something different. Therapist= awesome. Medication department is not. You either get ignored or told conflicting things while you run completely out of your medication. 😕

It is very hard to get someone from billing to call me back. I have had billing concerns since November 2023 that are not taken care of yet. I have been told that a formal complaint was put in for my concerns. That was a month ago with no response. I leave voicemails and send messages to billing on the patient portal with no response.

Practioners don’t communicate with patients. Emails get ignored and appointments get blown off by the people who’s job it is to provide quality mental health services. Lifestance doesn’t care about your health or quality of life!

Why do they even exist? I had scheduling issues during my last semester at school and I was moving at the same time. They care very seldom about why I couldn't make the appointments. I spoke to several psychiatrist there that were indifferent as to why I was going through hardships. They wrote me prescriptions without refills, so why even write them? I had the displeasure of speaking with Tamara Lowe, who absolutely refused to help me regardless of why I needed it. It's been close to a year since I've been seen at Lifestance and didn't bother to make a resolution. Treating me poorly and forgetting what services Lifestance even offered. Don't expect any professionalism with Lifestance if you try them.

I was a patient at this company for only 4 months. During those 4 months, 2 of my therapists quit after only seeing them for about 8 weeks, and then my psychiatrist quit as well. If you need help with your mental health, use another company. Both my therapists pulled out all of my trauma and left without helping me deal with it. Lifestance left me worse than I was before I went with them.

18 months, and wow even my friends notice the growth. Best therapy program I've had, and I've been involved with several agencies.
