Scheduling: My PT was flexible and able to accommodate my standard 9-5 work schedule. They have both an in-house office manager and also outsource some of their scheduling through a centralized call center. I was pleased with both the courtesy of staff and ease of scheduling and rescheduling. Treatment: I was treated mainly by Francis Abanilla. Was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder and was put on both an in-office and at-home regimen. Frozen shoulder is a several month recovery and I was very pleased with the care and direction from Francis, Alison, Leonie and the StarPro team at this location. For me, part of the rehab in-office was semi self-guided and part of the rehab was direct hands-on treatment from the PT. I was able to see steady progress and happy with the outcome. Francis did a great job providing guidance, motivation, and expertise throughout the recovery. He answered all my questions with care and in a professional and attentive manner. Billing: No issues with billing via in-network insurance. Quality of Office: The office is sunny, clean, and well maintained. It's an open layout with a couple areas for private service. The environment is relaxed and the staff is friendly and focused on providing high level care while offering support, concern, and feedback on patient questions and concerns.

I had a wonderful experience at StarPro at 461 Park Ave. Vidya at the front desk is welcoming and friendly, and her thoughtful gesture of providing candy for clients adds a nice touch. She is also very knowledgeable about health insurance policies, which made the process easier for me. My physical therapist, Allison, is patient and attentive. She has a great way of making patients feel comfortable and has been instrumental in helping me with my injuries. I highly recommend Allison and her team! I highly recommend Professional Physical Therapy and Allison Commander for sports injuries. I’ve been going to the Park Avenue & 31st street location which is extremely well run. Allison deserves 10 + stars. She is extremely caring, supportive and knowledgeable. The office is immaculate and your physical recovery is a guarantee.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care I received from Alison and the incredible team at Professional PT Murray Hill. As someone who has had their fair share of injuries and gone through many PTs, I can confidently say that the quality of care surpasses any other facility I've experienced. I tore my ACL for the second time in May and had ACL reconstruction surgery in July. I had never done PT in NYC and found Professional PT on google. I worked with Alison for a month of prehab before surgery and now 6 months of rehab after. Not only is she an extremely knowledgeable and great therapist, she is also incredibly kind and clearly cares about her patients. She designed a really great recovery plan to achieve my goal of skiing this winter and encouraged me through the whole recovery process. She and her aides (Lianni and Abby) consistently went above and beyond to get me back on my feet again. I can’t really speak to the other therapists besides Alison but they all seem great from a distance. One thing to know is that the sessions are usually not strictly one-on-one after the initial evaluation. That being said, it never feels overcrowded or like you are left on your own. The staff is constantly monitoring you while you are doing your exercises. The therapist also usually spends at least 10 minutes each session directly working on you. I actually preferred my experience here compared to one-on-one sessions that I’ve done at other places because I can do longer sessions. I’ve been to other places where the appointments have a hard limit of 30 minutes and it feels very rushed. Because it is not strictly one-on-one, I can spend a little more time and get through all my exercises. And since the staff is always rotating around, I never feel like I am left on my own. If you're looking for a physical therapy experience that combines expertise, personalized care, and a supportive environment, Professional PT Murray Hill is the absolute gold standard. Thank you Alison and the entire team for guiding me through a very tough time. I wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone seeking a top-notch PT!
