I cannot recommend Spear Physical Therapy - and specifically Leah Brodfuehrer - enough.
I worked with Leah for the better part of two years for multiple running injuries: hip labral tear, a foot stress fracture, and achilles tendinitis. In all instances, Leah helped craft a plan for strengthening muscle imbalances in order to not only heal the original injury, but prevent future ones. Through PT, I learned proper form and established lifelong strengthening routines that have turned me into a faster and more resilient runner.
Leah is a best-in-class therapist: competent and pragmatic while remaining empathetic and attentive. The Spear facilities themselves are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Scheduling was easy and billing was uncomplicated. (I hope to not need PT again, but if I did, Spear would be my first stop!)
I should mention that successful PT requires a commitment to doing your exercises outside of the sessions and communicating when the work is not challenging enough for you. If you're an athlete looking to nip injuries in the bud for good, I recommend Leah and her peers at Spear.
