Lisa and Nicole; Gabe and Joy
Nicole very graciously says that I did the work and Lisa had the expertise, but she's the one who suggested addressing my balance and dizziness issues with vestibular therapy, which is Lisa's specialty.
During 12 years of Lyme disease and ongoing recovery, not one doctor or specialist suggested checking my crystals, or considered a specific way of addressing my balance issues--until Nicole. It turns out the crystals weren't the problem, but Nicole's thoughtfulness and intuition prompted the search. Lisa offered that without knowing the specific cause of dizziness, we could still address it with specific exercises. I worked with her once a week for two months challenging and reconnected my eye-brain coordination. Not only was the dizziness 90% resolved, but my memory, mental alertness, fatigue, and headaches dramatically improved. It's as if my brain reconnected to the familiar way it had functioned before my illness. I haven't tripped or fallen in months now.
Gabe and Joy caught me repeatedly as I was learning not to fall. Spear hires therapist and assistants for kindness as well as skill, and I am the grateful, healing recipient of both.
