Tanvi was amazing—truly exceptional! Very attentive and always made sure I was comfortable. Her care and thoughtfulness really stood out. Highly recommended her for PT!
I am still recovering from elbow surgery but Aneeka Murjany has been wonderful to work with and I am improving every day. She is dedicated, patient and professional. Highly recommend if you need an Occupational Therapist.
I’ve been receiving treatment at Spear’s Williamsburg North 7th location since February for rheumatoid arthritis, and I can confidently say it’s made a world of difference. As a 23-year-old newly diagnosed with RA, navigating a chronic condition has been mentally frustrating and physically exhausting, but starting physical therapy at Spear has given me hope, support, and real progress. From my very first appointment, I felt heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. My therapy team, Aneeka and Brandon, took the time to understand my condition, listen to my concerns, and create a treatment plan that was both realistic and tailored to the unpredictable nature of RA. They’ve focused on building my strength and improving my mobility, all while prioritizing joint protection and pain management. What I’ve appreciated most is their flexibility and empathy on days when flare-ups hit, they don’t push me to “tough it out.” Instead, they adapt the session to focus on inflammation reduction and gentle movement, which has made a huge difference in my comfort and recovery. Now, after several months of consistent care, I’ve seen significant improvements in my mobility, strength, and overall confidence. The clinic itself is clean, welcoming, and professional, and the entire staff, from the front desk to the therapists, are incredibly kind and supportive. If you’re living with RA or another chronic condition, I highly recommend Spear. They understand that physical therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and they’ve been instrumental in helping me manage my condition and improve my quality of life.
Lauren and the team here are proactively helpful and professional. The environment is optimistic and bright even on cloudy days literally and metaphorically which is due at least in part to the manager Will's style of guidance. Shout-out to the support staff too including but not limited to Bianca and Alex.
Came here after a lower back injury and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without Tanvi Mehta. She treated my recovery like it was her own and made me feel supported every step of the way.
The team at Spear (especially Tanvi!) treated me with nothing but respect and care! I felt like they listened to my specific ailments, adjusted accordingly, and were integral to my recovery. Highly recommend!
I had mobility trouble because of a hip issue and was so distraught at first. But coming to Spear made me feel cared for and stronger and more capable. Now my hip issue is manageable and I’m feeling great as I continue to manage it with Laura’s help. She is so kind and friendly. Thank you so much Laura!
I have been going to Spear for pelvic floor physical therapy and I can honestly say it has been an amazing experience as I prepare for my first child. Tuanny is a godsend. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and makes me feel like a top priority. She put me at ease, makes sure to take her time listening to all of my concerns, and I feel so much more informed and at peace as I navigate this new phase of my life. Alex and Angie have also been great when showing me exercises, giving feedback and form correction, making me feel seen, heard, and cared for on the clinic floor. I strongly recommend Spear—especially Tuanny—to anyone looking for pelvic PT for birth prep!
I could not in good conscience recommend this practice to others. It felt like I was given a blanket one size fits all solution as opposed to personalized care. My PT would not observe me doing the exercises at all and I had no guidance in terms of form and found myself unable to provide feedback, feels like the philosophy here is more along the lines of lets get as many patients through the pipeline as possible. If you have a very run of the mill injury its possible this will be sufficient and they are better at managing insurance and having open slots then other practices (this is why im giving 2 instead of 1 stars). If you have a more complex situation or want to return to real athletics this is not the place for you, I think I would have had the same level of treatment from watching a couple youtube videos and working out at home.
I recently had my first physical therapy session at this establishment, following an initial evaluation, and it will certainly be my last. The staff displayed an astounding level of unprofessionalism, and I was left feeling neglected and forgotten throughout my appointment. On numerous occasions, I was forced to wait for the physical therapist to acknowledge my presence and provide feedback on my exercises. Rather than delivering the care and attention I deserved as a paying client, the therapist chose to engage in irrelevant activities, such as playing with a balloon and chatting with coworkers about trivial matters. To make matters worse, at the end of my session, there was no acknowledgment or assistance with checking out. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and poor quality of service provided by this facility, and I strongly advise others to seek physical therapy services elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
