Spear Physical Therapy was recommended by my doc for carpal tunnel that was developing. I was thrilled with the help that I received from Jane Yu, who showed me the many exercises that would help this condition. It was nice to get a thorough explanation of what was happening in my wrists, and the therapy has helped tremendously. I was having daily pain, and it's become a 'now and then' occurrence, and I know exactly what to do when it happens. Spear is really nice, professional studio. I couldn't recommend them more.

I've been going to the one on 7 east 14th street location and my physical therapist has been Meghan Hartigan. She has been amazing with me. She is always smiling and always makes me feel comfortable while I am there. She is very patient and very caring. I'm lucky to have her as my therapist 💓.

Akshaya and Joe were so amazing! I herniated my disk and came in with a lot of pain and limited mobility. Akshaya really helped tailor my stretches and exercises to strengthen my weak muscles. I was able to see a lot of progress quickly and within a few months I had tremendous pain relief. I used to wake up with so much pain getting out of bed and now I can jump right out. The team at Spear is so friendly and fun, I would highly recommend Spear to anyone.

After spraining my ankle it was clear I needed physical therapy. The team at Union Square Spear brought me back to full functionality and my experience exceeded my expectations; I didn’t want the sessions to end. There’s a really strong team dynamic among the therapists and interns; due to my schedule I had to see a few different therapists but there was continuity and collaboration through my whole journey. Everyone was professional, kind, knowledgeable and always took the time to understand my needs. And, I learned a lot along the way.
