I booked an appointment at Spear PT to tackle a terribly painful and lingering case of plantar fasciitis. I was at whits end and almost ready to give up. The entire Spear PT team made me feel comfortable, especially on the first visit. I was assigned Shilpi Kapoor, who was incredibly attentive and gave me the confidence I needed to push through the exercises and stay on top of my at home protocol. After a couple months I am happy to report I’ve got zero pain and back to playing 3 hours of basketball per week. Thank you to the entire team!! For anyone in doubt, don’t think twice- just book your appointment already! They will take good care of you!!
Truthfully I had the best experience here. Everyone at spear is so nice and helpful. Tiffany was the most amazing PT and got me back to my healthy self and even stronger!! She is smart and caring and anyone who has her will be very lucky. Highly recommend!
Spear physical therapy is clean, well-run, and the front desk receptionist are welcoming as soon as you walk in. I am seeing Marivi at 30 Broad St. I find her compassionate, knowledgeable, and talented. When I was in pain from multi-injury of leg, joints, and hip, Marivi give me encouragements. Marivi working closely changing different level of exercises in developing core and legs muscles strength. Slowly, I was able to feel strength and confident. I look forward of each visit with her because of feeling the improvement from secession to secession. Her supporting team member of technicians that I work with Belinda, Patrick, and Kayden are very caring and ensuring I practice my exercises correctly. Now, I can take a normal five miles walk. With this progress, I am beginning my secessions of treating my hip injury. I highly recommend Marivi for physical therapy. Barbara
Spear PT played in an integral part in helping me rehab a nagging foot injury prior to this year's NYC Marathon. I began my treatment and rehab for this in the summer and Marivi and the staff at Spear worked tirelessly to make sure I was able to run pain-free and avoid injury going forward. The clinic is super clean and the entire staff is extremely helpful and diligent ensuring you are always being taken care of. I would recommend Spear PT to anyone 10/10 times!!
Marivi Lao, clinical director at SPEAR's FiDi location, is simply fantastic! She is extremely knowledgeable, caring and supportive, and she has helped make my recovery from knee surgery a total success. As a leader, she models an extemely positive and caring approach for the entire FiDi team, each of whom has been a real pleasure to work with and get to know. It's been an extremely positive experience all around. Kudos to Marivi and the team! Robert C.
I had the opportunity to work with McKenna who has helped me with my upper back pain. She took the time to understand my specific needs and tailored my sessions to target problem areas effectively. Not only did my pain improve significantly, but I also learned exercises that I could do on my own to strengthen my back and prevent future issues once I graduated from Spear. Spear at 30 Broad St was a great experience and if you have the opportunity to work with McKenna I highly recommend!
From my very first visit, James Lenzi and all of his colleagues made me feel warmly welcomed, supported, and confident that I was in the best hands. James is exceptionally knowledgeable and has a compassionate approach that made each session not only effective but enjoyable. His attention to detail and commitment to my recovery were evident in every session, as he carefully listened to my concerns and adapted my program to fit my specific needs. I’ve seen significant progress in my mobility and strength, thanks to his expertise. The entire staff, from the front desk to the assisting therapists, contributes to a positive and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend James and the Spear clinic to anyone seeking top-tier physical therapy care!
I had the pleasure to work with McKenna regarding a chronic pain in my left shoulder. From her therapy and exercise suggestions, the strength in my shoulder improved a great deal. Not only is McKenna sweet and approachable but she’s smart and thoughtful. With the strong routine of exercises she taught me, I “graduated” from the program and feel confident that I can apply the practice at home and keep my shoulder moving.
I would and have recommended Spear @ 30 Broad to anyone I know. I feel SO grateful to have been assigned to Dr. Kim Pyle, who took on my case. My long term knee tendonitis combined with foot surgery made for a complex case. She answered my (many) questions, encouraged me when I had doubts, and was a consummate professional. Halfway through our time together, I broke the same foot that we had rehabbed post surgery. It paused our work together briefly, but when I came back she wasn't discouraged at all. She was thoughtful about how to reapproach the case, and I enjoyed working with her. She was very knowledgeable and seemed to really care about her patient's outcomes. thank you, Kim! Everyone at Spear was fantastic. Chelsea at the front desk is always happy to see you. All the many PT Assistants who worked with Kim and I were fun to work with - Hannah, Patrick, Alex, Jackie, and many more. The whole site has a good vibe about it, and it makes you want to work on your injuries. I arrived at Spear after 3-4 previous PT stints, and this was by far the most important and impactful of the bunch. I'm very grateful for the team there.
Highly recommend Spear PT and McKenna. Within six weeks, she was able to help me recover from an issue I had been struggling with the past three years. Thanks, McKenna and Spear!
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals.
