Spear PT helped me recover from a pinched nerve affecting the functioning of my left arm. PT Sheena was wonderful finding the right combination of exercises to target my particular condition and adjusting them to compensate for a sore wrist. She was also always ready and available to answer my questions regarding my condition and how best to resume my regular exercise and other routines.

I was having severe hip pain, at one point unable to walk without holding onto furniture. After an MRI revealed I was not getting enough blood to the joint, the doctor recommended PT at Spear. I was skeptical that it would work, never having done PT before. Sheena was my therapist and she was nothing short of a miracle worker. She knew exactly what exercises to focus on, she was endlessly cheerful and optimistic and within a few sessions I saw a vast improvement. After twelve sessions, coupled with the exercises she prescribed for me at home, I am totally pain free. I still can't believe it. But Sheena knew it all along. Unqualified recommendation.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and capable staff that really cares. Eisha was terrific to work with. She gave me an extensive repertoire of strengthening and stretching that definitely improved my condition and left me with the right plan to keep moving forward..

At Spear, my first experience with physical therapy has been excellent. Esha, my therapist, carefully discovered my needs and explained what she wanted me to do. A couple of months later, I am speedwalking on the streets of Manhattan!

Matt is a top notch physical therapist. He is helping me recover from two complex knee surgeries and cares a lot about the work he does. He’s creative in his approach and is super intuitive when something might be painful. I’ve worked with many PTs over the years and Matt’s deep subject matter expertise continues to impress me. Even going twice weekly, he’s constantly upgrading me to exercises that challenge me and make me stronger. He’s a super valuable asset to Spear and I’m really lucky that I get to work with him. I highly recommend scheduling with him.
