The people at JAG therapy are so pleasant and friendly and supportive. From the moment you walk in they always greet you with a smile.

Great service, good workout. I always feel welcome. I have been healing nicely from my therapy.

I was going to this location after two weeks of my total knee replacement surgery. Even after repeatedly asking them to wear gloves, Dr. Simin didn’t take into consideration my request and was preforming the exercises on my surgery area with bare hands. This caused infection on my surgery wound. I wouldn’t recommend this location and the physical therapists here, they caused unwarranted hassle for me.

This review is in regard to the scheduling and insurance clearance function. I called probably 3-4 times over a 6 week period to confirm the following: 1) is my insurance accepted (asked more than once) 2) required information for my physician's referral so the insurance company could approve my specific visits to Jag-One (NPI number, Dr's name/spelling, etc.) The staff assured me my insurance would be accepted. I even received a phone call on what my rates would be from Jag-One. Then I asked if I could submit my physician's referral to Jag-One one week before my appointment so they had time to re-verify my specific case with my insurance company. Jag-One literally called me 1 hour before my appointment to tell me they would not accept my insurance, and barely apologized for wasting all my time. Now I have to go through the exact same process with another PT practice. It's so disrespectful because my insurance requires a physician's referral which I have to ask my primary care doctor to rewrite. Each visit to my physician is $100. This is Jag-One wasting my time and money. Also I got their self pay rates which are literally double the insurance co-pay. You would think they would offer me something better for their mistakes. I advise skipping if you have to go through an insurance referral process because they gave me incorrect information for weeks despite my diligence and checking. And could have cared less for their mistakes. Only go if you don't need a referral or plan to self pay so they cannot make mistakes and waste your time.

There are many therapy options in the Gramercy area, and I’ve gone to two others over the years. But JAG was recommended by a health care worker and I can see why. The care and caring of Steve and the staff are exceptional!

Would give 0 stars if I could. This is no joke the worst physical therapy experience I have ever had. I had set an appointment and expected to pay out of pocket, and they lost the appointment. No one was helpful. No one cared. They called the Regional Manager, and she didn't care. Therapist barely understood what was going on. They said they saw my profile then they didn't. One receptionist was brand new and other one did not know how to deal with insurance. When I got there they did nothing for half an hour and then told me I would have to pay full price for what would have been 15 minutes of treatment. I will never be going back and suggest to anyone looking for PT in the Gramercy area that they avoid this place like the plague.

This small physical therapy clinic is a hidden gem. Every therapist I've interacted with has been friendly and welcoming, but my recent session with Steve was truly transformative. Steve's knowledge and expertise are immediately apparent. He has a fantastic energy and a calming presence that puts you at ease. There's a real sense of healing power in his touch – you can tell he truly understands the human body and how to work with your muscles to achieve optimal results. What truly sets Steve apart is his incredible focus. During your session, he's completely present with you. There are no distractions – his entire attention is devoted to your treatment. This focus, combined with his exceptional skills, leads to incredible results. I can't recommend Steve highly enough! If you're looking for a physical therapist who is not only skilled but also dedicated and attentive, Steve is the absolute best!
