List of Jag Physical Therapy's Reviews
I’ve had way too much experience with physical therapy over the past 20 years and Jag Physical Therapy is by far the best place I’ve been to! The entire staff is friendly, professional, skilled, encouraging, and supportive. The place itself is well equipped, exceptionally clean, well lit and maintained and very conducive to healing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this center.
Good physical therapist. Not too crowded. Not hard to get appointments. Don’t keep your waiting.
After knee replacement surgery, I had 10 weeks of PT at JAG Morningside Heights. I was walking with a cane when I began but by week 10 I had recovered much of my mobility. Lekhe, my therapist, was excellent, giving me a new challenge at each session. The facility is spacious, brightly lit, and clean with equipment in good working order. The administrative staff handles the insurance paperwork efficiently. I would certainly return here should I ever need PT again.
Great hand physical therapist. I recommend this facility to all who are in need of a therapist on the Upper West side.
Clean and bright space. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. With a variety of modalities and machines to support patients recovery. I Highly recommend JAG PT on Amsterdam Avenue.
I’ve been receiving physical therapy for a SLAP tear and had a great experience overall. Lekha is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me manage my pain significantly. Christina, the PT assistant, is also very kind and supportive throughout the sessions. The front desk staff is friendly and always prompt. While I’m not completely healed yet, I’m now able to go about my daily activities without pain. My only suggestion to the facility would be to avoid overbooking during certain hours, as it can get a bit crowded.
The precision and attention are much appreciated, especially by Parth Patel, the expert on my case. Many thanks for your excellent staff.
Walked out of my third appointment and won’t be going back. All I wanted was help rehabbing my foot after surgery but I spent half my appointments trying to track down whichever disinterested aide is assigned to me, Jon you’re the worst btw, and ultimately you will be sitting alone doing exercises you could do at home, because no one’s gonna pay attention to you here. This appointment not only was I waiting or doing things alone, I hear an aide tell my PT no one’s even keeping track of what I’m doing in my chart. What a total waste of time. How absolutely demoralizing when you’re vulnerable and injured trying to get better.
I reached out to Jag to give them the option for service recovery before posting this negative review – my first ever, I was kept waiting 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time (with no update or apology), obliged to repeat history I had already posted to their portal, overseen on my initial visit by a technician, promised a text and email with at-home exercises that were not sent after my session (and obviously not reviewed with me in person before I left, as I had requested). All in all, a very disappointing experience at this facility and with the manager afterwards.
Based on my insurance, they confirmed a $20 copay per visit. After some visits, I received a letter that I was due much more because my copays were $75 per visit. They did not take care of their mistake and made me pay the announced amount.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
