List of Texas Oncology's Reviews
Texas Oncology in Plano has excellent staff and facilities. Very patient oriented.
Been with Texas Oncology in Dallas for years and never had a problem was recommended to this location and they aren't not on top of their game. Couldn't get an appointment with out getting biopsy first which I didn't require one since I have VHL and the doctor was so smug. This place is not it.
I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Dr. Lafargue and Nurse Karen. They are an exceptional team. In addition to true expertise at what they do, both have confident, caring demeanors, and it is so appreciated. Any time I have presented a question concerning my health, they have been able to help and, quite honestly, impart peace alongside their help. While I may feel overwhelmed at certain aspects of what is going on, they are not. They confidently and compassionately help you through circumstances. I feel like God could not have placed me in better hands. Thank you so much Nurse Karen and Dr. Lafargue for seeing me, listening to me, and helping me on my journey to being healthy again.
Great services, doctors and nurses care a lot , sometimes front desk people is not kind and is important but that doesn’t minimize the impact that doctors care does . I proudly give 5 stars for dr Oommen and his staff
⭐ Exceptional Care from Dr. Lafargue and Nurse Karen ⭐ I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the entire Oncology team for the incredible care I received. Specifically, Dr. Christopher Lafargue was absolutely wonderful during my surgeries. His expertise and skill made a significant difference, and I felt completely confident under his care. I also want to give a special shout-out to Nurse Karen. She was truly great, always responding to my concerns almost immediately and diligently checking on how I was doing. Her attentiveness and quick response time were incredibly reassuring during a challenging time. Thank you both, and the rest of the team, for providing such a high level of support and outstanding care.
I have nothing but good things to say about Texas Oncology. Dr Colton has been incredible as are the nurses and infusion team. I moved here from Philadelphia and was used to an incredible team at the Abrahamson Cancer Center. I was worried I wouldn’t get the same level of care, but my feats were put to rest.
Dr. Acktari for radiation, Dr. Ruxer for chemotherapy. Such great doctors with amazing staffs. Receptionist was always great, lab work was quick and professional. The pharmacy bent over backwards to help you quickly and professionally. Thank you
Worst ever!!!The phone staff is the worst we have ever encountered. And that's no exaggeration. Every person we have spoken to never seems to get our contact info updated. Used landline we have had for yesrs and 17 year old cell number. Don't know where they even got it!' This is for CANCER treatment. GOOD GOD
I like the doctor but the business is incompetent. I made a payment to start chemo the note reflected it was for chemo. But they put it on a bill now they want another payment of 250.00. This is life or death so my insurance paid 80 percent already so it is a get rich scheme
Would not recommend Texas Oncology to anyone. My doctor puts in an order for chemo 3 weeks out, I try to follow up. They inform me the day before that there are no openings. They've messed up everything they've tried to schedule, from lab work to chemo infusions. In addition to some treatment issues I no longer have confidence in my care here. Mentioning that I went to the Austin/North location seems irrelevant. Because after reading so many bad reviews I conclude that all locations have bad problems.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
